Business Networking Membership is open to one company/entity from each business category. This allows members to communicate freely about their business, share marketing strategies, solicit help from fellow members on how to grow their business, and share leads and referrals without competition. In cases where there is some overlap of services or products provided, the businesses effected work together to avoid representation of the duplicated products/services within the meetings

Interested businesses/individuals are invited to attend two meetings. Guest businesses are encouraged to bring business cards, promotional items and share information about their business. At the second meeting, the interested guest business completes and submits a Membership Application along with the membership fee to PBN. Joining the Pend Oreille Business Network is the first step in growing relationships with other business people who share your enthusiasm building business through referrals.

Attendance
To ensure maximization of tips or leads and to quickly establish strong business relationships, members are required to attend weekly meetings. If the member cannot attend on a consistent basis, they will not realize the true benefit of belonging to a networking group. Only through active participation will a networking relationship grow.

Referrals are the life of the organization and all members are expected to not only receive referrals but also give referrals. The display of member business cards at fellow members' business locations is encouraged as well as distribution of member business cards when possible. Sharing of information that will benefit members is appreciated as well.

The Pend Oreille Business Network (PBN) is a not for profit organization and is an active member of the local Chamber Of Commerce. PBN supports the establishment of other business networking groups, economic development efforts and other civic endeavors that promote the healthy development of strong businesses in the area.
